The ‘eat out’ culture in Kenya is growing tremendously and its growth has opened an exciting phase for foreign food chains which are leaving nothing to chance. This is evident due to the heavy amounts of investments they are pumping in to the Kenyan market. Dominos Pizza and cold stone ice cream will be spending 1.3 Billion Shillings in the coming months to open up forty five stores across the country.
Om nom nom will in the next two weeks open another Cold Stone and Dominos outlet in Gigiri before opening their first store in Mombasa a week later. They are however expected to face stiff competition from the likes of KFC, Subway and JAVA who have been fighting for market share in Nairobi’s retail food business for several years. Om nom nom is however counting on its well trained team while providing a wide variety of foods to stay ahead of the pack
