Apostle James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre has been arrested. He is held at Gigiri for questioning over a car accident on the Nakuru-Nairobi highway on July 26 that lead to the death of a woman.

Pastor Ng’ang’a’s arrest come after DPP Keriako Tobiko directed on Tuesday that Ng’ng’a will will be charged with causing death through dangerous driving, failing to report an accident, conspiracy to defeat justice and giving false information to police.

ApostleNganga is accused of causing the death of Ms Mercy Njeri on the Nairbi-Naivasha highway in Limuru , Kiambu County, on July 26.

Keriako Tobiko has said that four other suspects, including two police officers who handled the case at Tigoni Police Station, will face conspiracy-to-defeat-justice charges.

The four are Mr Simon Kuria, Mr James Maina Ng’ang’a and police inspectors Christopher Nzioka and Patrick Baya.
