Mzee Ojwang dead after pneumonia attack

Mzee Ojwang is dead. The former Vitimbi actor died at the Kenyatta National Hospital on Sunday evening after a pneumonia attack. Mzee Ojwang, whose real name is Benson Wanjau, graced our TV screens in the 80’s and 90’s on KBC in the famous Vitimbi drama show. He acted alongside Mama Kayai.

Mzee Ojwang’s death comes after fighting a serious eye illness which lead to partial blindness earlier this year. It took the intervation of the Vitimbi crew led by Mama Kayai who visited Mike Sonko and asked for an emergency response to save his life
