JUMIA Kenya Exposed! This is what they are doing to their clients
JUMIA Kenya is said to be the biggest online shopping website in Kenya. For that reason, it seems like they are riding on a high horse.. Sooner or later, this will take a toll on their now successful online business.
Some clients have complained that they bought items from Jumia Kenya and got faulty gadgets which were poorly packaged. Here are some complaints that were sent by some disgruntled clients regarding Jumia’s poor service.
: I am very disappointed with JUMIA . they sold me a faulty phone. I requested them to come for it within 12 hours of sale . They told me to take it to Tecno myself . I decided to take it to their offices . Techno would have charged me to repair the phone but i was not ready to pay because the phone was Delivered spoilt and i had not used it .
Their customer care promised to refund me the money while at their offices. I requested for documentation but nothing was given to me only a stamp on the invoice. Then they change their mind and tell me to wait for 14 days for them to repair the phone. Now they use their policy to force me have the phone which is repaired. After claiming to have repaired the phone, they deliver the phone carelessly packed and some part was missing . I return it to them. They call to say they will buy and replace the missing part.
I have lost trust in them and yet they have insisted on giving me the same phone . I don’t trust their quality any more .
Its now a month and they say i have no option but to take the phone. JUMIA, The least you could do is to deliver another phone .
: You have Embarrassed me. I no longer trust you. After selling me a substandard product of which you have acknowledged you now can’t even reply my messages. The only song you have is that you will make a follow-up. You lie to me that you serviced the product yet you did not. You insist that the product is genuine yet you still detected it’s faulty.
Nyaboke Penelope: Can i please be sorted with a copy of my invoice of order number 300499519. My phone has a technical issue and wanted it sorted but cannot do so without the invoice. i have made calls from yesterday with a promise of you guys sending me the copy but upto now even after an e-mail to booster the calls i have not yet got a response. I am so frustrated because my phone has all my contacts and documents and this delay is so costly to me. why is it that on making orders you respond so quickly but listening to your customer complaints and closing on the issue becomes so hard? please act on this with urgency
: I placed an order on 10july at 17:26(as per email confirmation)but to date I’m yet to receive my shipment.calling your CS I’m informed the order was placed on the 16th july and the item is no longer in stock.Hence I have to wait for another 7 days. Really!
: you guys are liars and thieves…..all the time you just give me false information regarding my returned item…it was supposed to take 14 days now its a month with the same bullcrap story about the item been in the service centre…if you want to cone me of my hard earned money just say so because am now regretting doing business with this crappy company….the order number is 300364768
