Everything you need to know about Airtel Kenya Insurance

Airtel Kenya has just introduced Insurance services to their clients. Here is everything you need to know about Airtel Insurance

What is Airtel Insurance?

Airtel Insurance is a free insurance policy for all Airtel Subscribers aged between 18-65 years

What are the benefits of Airtel Insurance?

Airtel Insurance covers three events: Death, accidental permanent disability and Hospitalization. The subscriber qualifies for a cash payout for any of these events

For example, if you recharged Sh 250 or more to qualify on 15th June, any claims arising from an accident would be covered starting 1st July. However, any claim arising from any additional reason, including illness or natural death would be covered beginning of August (provided you qualified for cover by recharging Ksh 250 or more in July)

How does one qualify for the Airtel Insurance?

Your cumulative monthly recharge will determine your next month’s cover. So, if you recharge Ksh 100 early in the month, and recharge another Ksh 150 later in the month, the sum would reach Ksh 250 for you to qualify for insurance cover the following month
