Nyeri: Man fighting for dear life after wife attempted to chop off his privates

A man from Thunguri village, Othaya, Nyeri county is fighting for his dear life at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital after his wife allegedly attempted to chop off his private parts during a domestic row.

The 57 year old man sustained severe injuries on his organs after his wife hit him below the belt with a panga. The father of 10 was referred to the Nairobi Women’s Hospital from Nyeri Provincial general hospital and doctors are now on a mission to save his life

The victim’s wife is said to have plotted with her sons to beat their father has since been charged in court and released on a Sh 30,000 cash bail.

The victim claimed that the genesis of their fight was his two acre piece of land which is under tea plantation. The man who claims to have been brutally attacked on February 16th complained that none of his ten children had gone to see him in hospital during his three week stay at the Nyeri referral hospital before his transfer to Nairobi.
