Uhuru Kenyatta appointed Paul Kobia Ambassador to Japan.. But he rejected the appointment

Controversial businessman Paul Kobia has claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta had appointed him to become Kenya’s ambassador to Japan. Through his Twitter account, Kobia also claimed that he turned down the appointment because ‘he wants to stay in Kenya and protect the president’

On his social media accounts, Kobia has on some occasions referred to himself as “Hon.Paul kobia kenyatta, commander UBBU -Uhuru Big Boys Unit .GENERAL OF THE GROUND FORCES OF Uhuru Kenyatta’s govt” and an Executive director of the Jubilee Alliance Party of Kenya.

Earlier this month, Paul Kobia was admitted in a Nairobi hospital after he became violent and uttered incoherent statements linking him to the death of Fidel Odinga. It was later reported that he had gone mad.
