Nairobians, Vera Sidika will be your women rep come 2017

Interesting times lie ahead for Nairobi politics. Rumor has it that top socialite Vera Sidika might vie for the Nairobi’s Women rep seat.

Controversial businessman Paul Kobia has also said that he will be running for the Nairobi senator seat. He said this during an interview on K24 adding that he predicts a landslide win since he is man of the people, adding that he is currently the deputy senator and takes charge when Mike Sonko is out of the country. Kobia also said that he will be Nairobi’s senator from 2017 to 2037

The current senator for Nairobi, Mike Sonko, has on many occasions said that he will be vying for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat. Going by previous voting patterns, he is likely to capture the seat easily come 2017.

This means that if all the three influential personalities win during the 2017 general elections, Nairobians will have Vera Sidika as their Women rep, Paul Kobia as Senator and Mike Sonko as Governor
