Musician Gloria Muliro set to divorce her cheating and violent husband

Gospel Musician Gloria Muliro is in the process of divorcing her husband of 4 years. This is after the man, a Congolese pastor by the name Eric Omba, allegedly cheated on her and did many other heinous deeds to the ‘Sitolia’ songbird. The two met in 2009 at the New Hope Church when Gloria Muliro was going through a bad break up and got married less than a year later

Gloria Muliro Divorce: According to the Pulse, Gloria’s marriage life has been a story webbed around claims of marital infidelity and mistrust, abuse and violence since its inception. All this time she has been trying to hide her pain and all that was going on in her marriage just to protect her husband since “he is a  man of God”

The ever smiling GLoria Muliro narrated to pulse how she started having doubts about her husband during their wedding night. After the wedding ceremony when the two checked in to a guest house so as to rest and prepare themselves for the honeymoon, Gloria busted her new husband tearing in to gift envelopes, removing the cash and throwing the envelopes in a bin, then stashing the money in his pockets.

Barely a month in to their new marriage, the husband started calling her names and even wrote down a set of rules that she was supposed to follow. Later that month, he sent her to a friend’s house where she was supposed to ‘learn how to cook’ and how to keep their house clean. She only learnt later that the man of God had given her out as a house help to that friend.

Over time, as Gloria Muliro became famous and started making a lot of money from performances, her fans could not tell the pain that she was going through. Up do date she does not have access to money that she makes from performances, including Sh 4 million she earned during a nationwide Safaricom tour in 2014.

Eric Omba is also said to have cheated on Gloria Muliro with several of her friends including an upcoming gospel musician known and several gospel music dancers.

According to Gloria, one of the dancers known as Sly was the most disrespectful. “The closeness between Sly and Eric knew no boundaries. Whenever they were together, he never used to behave like a married man. She went ahead to tell other girls that she had never seen a man as handsome as Eric and that she knew he did not love me. I came to find out that they were having an affair, just like he was with other girls. He would tell me that openly through provoking messages that he would post on Facebook and Twitter,” Gloria says
