/A new political party that brings together Jubilee Coalition partner parties, TNA and URP has been formed. The new outfit known as Jubilee Alliance Party will test its strength by fielding its first candidate during the Kajiando Central by-election.

The Jubilee Alliance party has its offices situated along King’ara road in Lavington where seven aspirants seeking to succeed Nkaissery were received on Friday morning. The seven, five from TNA and two from URP have been registered under the Jubilee Alliance Party as it seeks to have one candidate nominated to fly its flag come March 16th. This means that neither TNA nor URP will field a candidate during the Kajiado central by-election
The formation of the Jubilee Alliance Party is said to be a result of consultations spanning over the past few months. Kericho senator Charles Keter from URP and Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau from TNA, were tasked with the duty of overseeing the merger and formation of the new party.
The Jubilee Alliance Party logo brings together TNA’s dove and URP’s horn and their two slogans now merge in to “I Believe in Kusema na Kutenda”
The chairman of this new party is Nelson Dzuya and its vice chairman is former Gatanga MP, David murathe. Veronica Nduati is the secretary general and will be deputized by Caleb Kositany and Fatuma Mohamud. The party’s treasurer is Alfred Kipkorir while Abdul Hajji, son to Yusuf Hajji will is the party’s organizing secretary
This has however raised pertinent questions on the fate of Jubilee mother parties TNA and URP officials. Sources say consultations oh how to accommodate the old officials in the new party are ongoing
