1 day old baby boy buried alive in Nakuru by his mother
Police in Naukuru are looking for a woman who gave birth to a baby boy and buried him alive in a shallow grave a few hours later.
The baby who as buried alive by his mother in Nakuru. He is currently receiving treatment at the Nairobi Women’s hospital
The baby boy was discovered by herders who reported the matter to a nearby police station. One of the herders said she noticed a shallow grave which was still very fresh and had footprints on it. She then decided to dig and that is when she saw the baby who was stuffed in a sack. Luckily, the baby was still alive
Locals have linked the baby to a neighbor who was due to give birth, but she is no longer pregnant . Neighbors believe the woman who was left home alone as her husband traveled gave birth at home and then decided to kill the baby.
The baby was rushed to Nairobi Women’s hospital in Nakuru with medical practitioners working to reverse the effects of the time he spent underground. The medics have said the baby is stable though he has not fully recovered
