ERC Announces further reduction in fuel prices- DOWNLOAD PRICE LIST
The Energy Regulatory Commission has announced further drops in fuel prices for the month of December 2014. The Price of super petrol is now down by Sh4.79 per litre in latest ERC review. This means that motorists in Nairobi will now pay Sh 102.01 per every litre of Petrol
ERC announces new fuel prices for December 2014 – Kerosene down by Sh4.94, Petrol down by Sh4.79 & Diesel down by Sh3.67
The price of diesel has also dropped further by Sh 3.67, which means that starting Sunday midnight, the price of diesel in Nairobi will be Sh 90.85.
The price of kerosene has gone down by Sh 4, from Sh 75.37 to Sh 71.37.
Though these price reductions should come as a relief to consumers, most Kenyans are concerned because the drop does not reflect the massive fall in global oil prices. On Friday, fresh lows that have not been seen since May 2009 were witnessed with U.S. crude prices sliding below $58 a barrel on concerns over a global supply glut and gloomy demand.
