The crash took place on Sunday afternoon and killed all 9 people aboard the private jet including Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife. The plane reportedly struck a crane at the grand Bahamas ship yard and exploded on impact before crashing in to the ground near a junk yard area.

All the 9 passengers who died in the crash were heading to a conference which was to be hosted by Dr. Myles Munroe. According to Tribune242, the plane was a Lear 36 executive jet which departed the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) for the Grand Bahama International Airport. It crashed while making an approach for landing at Grand Bahama International Airport at 5.10pm on Sunday.
