Uganda launches its Kiira EV SMACK Kiira EV SMACK
Uganda has launched its first hybrid car christened Kiira EV SMACK. The car was developed by the Makerere University’s Centre for Research in Transportation Technologies
Kiira EV SMACK was launched in Nairobi on Thursday in an event graced by Ugandan’s High Commissioner to Kenya, Angelina Wapakhabulo.
The 5 seater Kiira EV SMACK hybrid vehicle is powered by a rechargeable battery bank and a generator set for propulsion and battery charging. When fully charged, the vehicle will be able to run for 80 Kilometers without using any fuel
