Two Maasai Mara university student dead after falling into River Narok

The Maasai Mara University fraternity is currently mourning after two students drowned in river Narok on Sunday afternoon

The two maasai Mara university students died while on a prayer picnic that was organized by a group of friends after attending a church service. One of the deceased is a first year student and the other one is a third year student. They were taking pictures at the water fall when they slipped in to the river

The university students’ president said they tried to look for help but it was too late. Divers from the Kenya navy were expected in the area on Monday evening to assist in recovering the bodies

Last year, two people, a prison warden and a prisoner drowned in the river
