Shock as Ugandan house-help caught on camera beating up a child.

Parents have expressed anger and shock after watching a video where a Ugandan house help is seen beating up a 2 year old girl. The maid forces the girl to eat and gives her a thorough beating when she fails to cooperate.

A camera that was secretly planted at a vantage point by some young parents in Uganda captured the footage. The video shows the maid sitting on the couch feeding the child. The househelp eventually becomes violent and forces the child to feed while she is beating her. She was also filmed eating the child’s food

The child who could not bear the feeding any more throws up and what happens next is unimaginable; the maid tosses her to the hard floor who falls flat on the face and stamps on her back with her feet. As the child cries, the house-help remains indifferent and continues attacking her with a big rechargeable flash light.

The parents of the child lives in Kiwatule, a Kampala suburb. According the the police spokes person, the maid was brought my the parents’ friend and had worked at their home for only 26 days

The 22 year old maid who has been identified as Jolly Tumuhiirwe has since been arrested and charged in court. She was charged under the Anti-torture Act at Nakawa Court. Some reliable sources also claim that police are contemplating on revising the charge and upgrade it to attempted murder. The maid will re-appear in Court on December 8th 2014

There were reports on social media that the two year old girl who was molested by the maid in Uganda died of her injuries but a website called the investigator reported today that the girl is alive. Watch the video below
