President Kenyatta gives Sh 1 million to Gor Mahia at State House
President Uhuru Kenyatta received this year’s KPL champions Gor Mahia at the state house and gave them a cash reward of Sh 1 Million.

For the first time in Kenya’s history, winners of the KPL were invited to the State House and got to meet the president in person. Gor Mahia had to wait until their last match to know their fate and they would have never expected that after being crowned champions they would visit State House.
The Kogalo Anthem which has been very popular with the Gor Mahia fans this entire season was sang one more time for the president. Led by their captain Jerim Onyango, they presented President Kenyatta with their trophy. The team is now hoping for a repeat of the same victory next season.
Gor Mahia will now be eyeing continental glory when they feature in the CAF champions league next year.
