Kiambu governor William Kabogo to be IMPEACHED

A motion seeking the impeachment of Kiambu governor William Kabogo has received backing from 27 of the 87 members of the Kiambu county assembly.

This comes days after the MCAs gave Kabogo a 14 days notice for him to relocate to the Kiambu town offices which are the gazetted county head quarters

The backing of the motion to ouster Kabogo falls 2 signatures short of the threshold required to table an impeachment motion which has to have at least a third of the members in support.
