Kajwang’s autopsy results show that he died of heart failure
The government pathologist handed over Otieno kajwang’s preliminary autopsy results to James Orengo on Friday afternoon. According to the results, there are no signs of foul play as earlier suggested by some leaders of the Coalition Of Reforms and Democracy (CORD)
Johannes Oduor, the government pathologist said that one of Kajwang’s blood vessels in the heart was narrowed because of high cholesterol. He added that there was a previous scar on the heart, which means he had a similar attack before.
The autopsy report also indicated that Otieno Kajwang had broken four ribs. He also had two fractures on the sternum, some bruises on the left side of his chest and also a dislocation on one of his ribs. While presenting the autopsy report, James Orengo who Kajwang’s family lawyer did not clarify if these were injuries that went untreated after Kajwang’s road accident in Oyugis on Friday last week.
Preliminary results show that Kajwang died of heart failure but some more tests will be conducted in South Africa to find out the exact cause of his death.

She also said that she had two children with Kajwang; a son by the name Rony Odinga who is in Kabarak university and a daughter, Christie Otieno, who completed her O Levels this year. However, Orengo denied those claims, calling them mere sideshows.
