Homa Bay’s senator Otieno Kajwang Dead

Former Cabinet Minister and Homa Bay Senator Otieno Kajwang is dead.

Cause of Otieno Kajwang’s death

Otieno Kajwang died of heart attack (Cardiac Arrest) at the Matter Hospital in Nairobi. Reports indicate that Kajwang fell ill at his home after which he was rushed to Matter Hospital but unfortunately, doctors could not save his life.

ODM’s spokesperson Phillip Etale confirmed Otieno Kajwang’s death through a message on his Facebook wall:

Sad to have lost Senator Otieno Kajwang’. It is by the will of God that Senator had to depart from our midst at this time

Otieno Kajwang died in the presence of some of his family members who had rushed him to hospital.

The body of Kajwang was moved at around 7.30 am Wednesday morning to Lee funeral home from the Matter hospital where he died on Tuesday night.

Otieno Kajwang’s father, suffers a heart attack after hearing of Son’s death

DAVID AJWANG, father of late Sen. Otieno Kajwang, was rushed to hospital on Wednesday morning after collapsing in his Mbita home on learning of the death of his son. It was reported that he also suffered a cardiac arrest (heart attack)

Kajwang will be remembered for his ‘Mapambano’ songs that had become very popular during ODM rallies and teachers’ strikes. He has died at age 55. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.
