Michael Essien, the AC Milan mid-fielder contracts Ebola (HOAX)

Ghanaian international footballer and AC Millan mid fielder  Michael Essien is the latest victim of internet hoax. There were reports that he had contracted the deadly ebola virus.

According to Daily Times Nigeria,  the website that started the hoax, AC Millan’s spokes person Riccardo Coli had confirmed the report. He said that the news of  Michael Essien contracting Ebola has shocked everyone in the club but they are optimistic that he will feel better. Riccardo ‘said’ that the virus was diagnosed at a very early stage and  Essien will be fine since he’s in experts’ hands

Michael Essien moved to AC Millan from Chelsea earlier this year (January 2014)
