/ The Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) secretary general Wilson Sossion has said that teachers will not go on strike before the KCPE and KCSE exams are over
While speaking in Kisii county on Friday, Sossion said KNUT will stay at the negotiating table with the government to avoid any crisis in the education sector as candidates do the national exams. Sossion contradicted the KNUT chairman Mudzo Nzili who said during a different occasion in Kericho that teachers will go on strike if the government does not offer them something solid in the pay talks by next week on the 25th of October.
