The Lang’ata OCPD who was expressly ordered to ensure compliance established his presence on the disputed land, and with that, all activities came to a halt. The ownership of the land has been claimed by different parties. On Thursday, the CORD coalition  called for a probe asking the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission to summon top Jubilee  leaders to write statements on what they know about the land

Those CORD claimed that Deputy president William Ruto, Lands CS Charity Ngilu, Nairobi governor D. Evans Kidero, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, police inspector general David Kimaiyo and his CID counterpart Ndegwa Muhoro amongst others

Lands CS Charity Ngilu however turned the heat on the CORD politicians accusing them of playing politics. She added that related land grab cases, like the one in Machakos, Lamu and Konza lay squarely  on the CORD leaders who were pointing fingers.

The dispute has been registered by businessman Da Gama Rose and it challenges validity of the title held by former National Social Security Fund managing trustee, Jos Konzolo
