Hassan Joho’s degree case thrown out by High Court in Mombasa
The case challenging Mombasa Governor’s academic qualifications has been thrown out by the High Court in Mombasa.
The case was thrown out by a three judge bench who said that the case amounted to “abuse of court process”. While delivering the ruling, justices Edward Muriithi, Christine Meoli and Martin Muya said that the petitioner did not follow the right procedure while filing the case. They termed it as immature
The ruling comes as a big relief to Joho who has been accused of getting fake degree papers from Kampala University. The ruling was supposed to be made on Wednesday but it was postponed today.
