It has been the talk of town for some time now with Nyanza leaders accusing each other of short circuiting the president’s planned tour of Kisumu county. The president will head to Kisumu this Wednesday and later hold  cabinet meeting on Thursday at the Kisumu state lodge and finally a public rally on Friday.

Meanwhile, Collins Okello, fondly known as Jaduong has finally met President Uhuru Kenyatta. Collins shocked the nation when he meticulously drew a portrait of the president in his military attire using ONLY a pencil. This piece of art work caught president Kenyatta’s eye which resulted to an invitation to the house on the hill.

According to Collins Okello, he was not in Statehouse to make a kill from his presidential painting. He said that he refised to sell the painting and gave it as a gift to the president. However, Jaduong did not leave statehouse empty handed, though he refused to say what the President gave to him

He however disclosed that he has a scheduled meeting with the president next week to discuss the actualization of several youth projects in Kisumu county. President Kenyatta has openly displayed his soft spot for artists and many who have entertained him on the national scene have benefited immensely from his generosity
